Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Capital Diva (“we,” “this site,” capitaldiva.com) collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: this is a static publishing site — we don't require accounts, we don't sell products, and we collect very little.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email hello@capitaldiva.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply and for nothing else. We don't add you to lists you didn't ask for.
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — used for security, debugging, and aggregate traffic understanding.
Cookies and analytics
Capital Diva's pages do not set first-party tracking cookies. We may use privacy-respecting or standard analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate readership — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Analytics data is aggregate and is not used to identify individual readers. You can block analytics with browser settings or extensions without affecting how this site works.
Third-party advertising and Google AdSense
We may display advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense, to support the site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- You can opt out of many other third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
Links to other sites
Articles link to external sources — government agencies (BLS, IRS, DOL), research organizations, and others — as evidence. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Children's privacy
This site is written for working adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and security
Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle it. We use HTTPS across the site.
Your rights
Depending on your state (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to request access to or deletion of personal information. Given how little we collect, the practical scope is usually your email correspondence — write to hello@capitaldiva.com and we'll handle it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, when advertising or analytics tools are added — this page will be updated and the date above revised.
